Artist Dale Oftedal - Biography
I
was born in Fresno Ca. in 1940.
I graduated Bullard High School in 1958. I received a Bachelors degree in Advertising Design
at the Art Center in L.A. in 1963. I received a Masters in Fine Art at Fresno State University
in 1993. I was an art teacher at West Hills College, Coalinga, CA. and at Fresno
State University 1993-2002.
I am a Fine Artist, graphic designer and pin striper. My artwork is in many private and public collections in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Fresno California and
Oregon. Large lobby murals in the Juvenile and Superior Courts and Gateway Ice Center in Fresno
California. I have worked at Saul Ban Studio in L.A. on movie titles, TV commercials,
packaging and corporate logos.
I have worked for CBS-TV New York City doing corporate design. I was a Assistant
Art Director for the New York Herald Tribune newspaper Sunday Magazine "New
York". I have been a free lance artist for advertising agencies in New York, Los
Angeles and Fresno. I had solo and group shows in New York, Los Angeles and
Fresno. Big Brother picture was shown in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
